Modular courses allow for lifelong learning thanks to a flexible learning system. Anyone interested can take part in classes on different aspects of cosmetology and cosmetic chemistry. Pick a few selected topics, or compose your full postgraduate studies by choosing modules offered by us (collecting an appropriate number of ECTS credits).
At present, our offer of modular courses consists of such subjects as:
COSMETIC CHEMISTRY AND TECHNOLOGY
The goal of our cosmetic chemistry and technology modular courses is to familiarise students with the practical aspects of cosmetic knowledge: design and principles of creating personal care products, their properties, evaluation of performance, active substances, scope and application methods as well as effects and evaluation methods of these effects. In addition, students gain knowledge about the legal aspects of the cosmetic use and learn to evaluate the actual usability of cosmetics based on the information contained on the packaging.
The training will allow you to perform both facial and body cosmetic treatments, establish efficient co-operation with a dermatologist, dietician and physiotherapist. You will learn the properties and effectiveness of various cosmetic treatments, the influence of diets and lifestyle on beauty, organisation of a cosmetic salon and SPA centres as well as the principles of marketing, selling and advertising cosmetic services.
